These are exciting times for IT profiles to really become part of McDonald’s business critical solutions. About the jobThe Technology Run team infr astructure consultant primary’s responsibility will be to ensure the effective running of McDonald’s Market technology portfolio.
This, in a professional and timely manner, deliver pro-active maintenance with limited impact to the business, ensure adherence to change management processes, and manage intake process of scheduling technology resources between support, maintenance and projects.As such, you will report to the Run lead manager.Main responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Ownership of Infrastructure solutions operational and support activitiesEnsure technology adherence to the change management processReview and schedule operational maintenance activities with stakeholders and technology staffCollaborate with technical teams to develop and optimise effective and robust solutions and servicesExecute methodologies to reduce unscheduled downtime and improve customers’ satisfactionWork with the technology leadership team, Service Desk, operations, marketing and other teams on development and distribution of reports and metrics regarding service availability and performance, support efforts, and proactive maintenanceWork with staff for functional on boarding, including change management process implementation, report setup, and confirm and validate documentation.Work closely together with Global teams to solve reported problemsOnsite support for office usersL3 support for service providers and emergency escalation point for major issues, including eventual after-hours and weekendImplement and manage support procedures for incidents across all technology systems in scope About you nowTo be able to thrive in this role, we believe you need to possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that you can perform the essential functions of the job:
Minimum degree Bachelor in IT (or equivalent thru experience)2+ years of relevant work experience (overall Technology, Managed Services and / or Consultancy), preferably in a business environmentBackground in ITIL and Knowledge Management processes preferableBreadth of technical skills related to the hardware, software and IT infrastructure of an organizationStrong analytical, problem solving, and quality experienceExcellent organizational, verbal and written communication skillsThoroughly and accurately understand issues and analyse the problem in a systemic fashionDemonstrated ability to exercise independent judgment and express creativity and initiativeExcellent organizational and follow-up skills with strong attention to detail and willingness to find solutionsSuperior customer service skills and experience in a client-facing roleThe following skills would be recommended:
Batchfile programming (Powershell scripting) Personal Sense of responsibility and organizedA natural service minded personalityTeam player who is capable of independently workingStrong communication skills and a good dose of persuasivenessAnalytically strong:
