We have long term contracts, with a strong focus on process efficiency and quality improvement.
Our onshore team Belgium provide inspection, maintenance, and repair of wind turbines at various wind farms in Belgium (Vestas, Senvion and Enercon turbines).
The service team has now grown so much that we are looking for a technicalteamleader for the Belgium team.
We are looking for a technicalteamleader who on an operational level is responsible for our service team in Belgium.
You are the first point of contact for the technicians in your team.
You will be hired not only for your technical knowledge of wind turbines but also because you are a real people manager who can coach the team and takes ownership to initiate and implement improvements.
Your tasks As technicalteamleader, your responsibilities will include:
Operational leadership of the service team in Belgium.
Coaching, motivating and guiding the people in your team.
Performance management and adequate monitoring of employee performance.
Hire, induct and coach team members to produce their best work, set annual targets and achieve growth objectives.
Optimize staff planning and resources in collaboration with the Dispatch department(s).
Oversee the execution of all Service-related activities.
Promote internal and external cooperation and customer orientation.
In collaboration with the Operations Manager manage cost and performance indicators and Initiate cost-out initiative.
In collaboration with the Project Manager(s) actively monitoring project progress .
In cooperation with the Technical Field Support department, initiate and manage improvement proposals related to contractual availability.
Taking ownership and implement improvement plans and processes.
Initiate and schedule trainings, safety and technical with the support of the training department.
Administrative task as, approval of working hours, declarations, control of safety certificates.
Organize regular safety or kick-off meetings.
Perform safety and turbine inspections.
Your profile You have a relevant technical education and several years of experience in a leading position and technical knowledge of wind turbines.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a technicalteam lead role.
You have integrity and know how to coach and guide the people in your team in a positive way to get the most out of your team.
You are analytical and commercial and have a result-oriented mentality.
You oversee the progress, effectiveness, efficiency, and safety of the activities carried out.
Proven skills and experience of the MS office package.
Proficient in Dutch and English in word and writing.
Proficiency in the French language is also preferred but not required Driver’s license B.
