10pt;>Assistance and Advisory Service (AAS)

10pt;>The NATO Communications and Information Agency (NCI Agency) is NATO’s principal C3 capability deliverer and CIS service provider.

It provides, maintains and defends the NATO enterprise-wide information technology infrastructure to enable Allies to consult together under Article IV, and, when required, stand together in the face of attack under Article V.

10pt;>To provide these critical services, in the modern evolving dynamic environment the NCI Agency needs to build and maintain high performance-engaged workforce.

The NCI Agency workforce strategically consists of three major categorise's:

NATO International Civilians (NIC)'s, Military (Mil), and Interim Workforce Consultants (IWC)'s.

The IWCs are a critical part of the overall NCI Agency workforce and make up approximately 15 percent of the total workforce.

Role Duties and Responsibilities

In this role, the successful candidate responsibilities will be for providing technical expertise and guidance to SHAPE in the management and refurbishment of existing networks to host VoIP services.

In addition, they will be responsible for gathering requirements, drafting specifications and, more generally, helping SHAPE to execute and monitor their procurement process.

This position requires a solid understanding of project management, VoIP technologies, network infrastructure, and writing skills.

Essential Skills and Experience

• Strong knowledge of VoIP technologies, protocols, and systems (e.g., SIP, RTP, VoIP gateways).


• Proficiency in network infrastructure design, configuration, and troubleshooting.


• Experience with network equipment and technologies (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls).


• English language level :
  
  proven B2 as a minimum


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients and internal teams.


• Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
