DEME General Finance Belgium Apply nowYour responsibilitiesYour profileOur offerTake responsibility to provide a complete overview of all financial aspects of the fleet.Execute profound financial planning and budgeting of operational budgets of the fleet.Participate in steerco meetings and connect with docking controllers on the follow up of budgets and financial results of major repairs of the vessels.Report, together as a team, with the Vessel Manager the performance of the fleet towards the management.
Report to higher management and advise them and the technical department in financial matters, acting as an integrated business partner.Perform ad-hoc analyses upon request of the managementYou have an eagle-eye and analyze the figures, create insights about potential savings and improvements.You have a higher degree (Bachelor or Master) in applied economics, accounting or finance.You have experience in cost controlling and financial auditing.
Experience in a technical environment is a bonus; alternatively, you have a strong technical affinity.You have a proven track record in a coordinating role and are keen on teamwork at different levels within the organization.You are fluent in English.You are an expert in Excel.You are willing to occasionally, and ad hoc, visit the vessels (+/ - 10% of your time) = international travel.You become a member of a young and dynamic team with room for input / improvements / feedback.
