In concrete terms, DG Simplification and Digitalization:
· develops the government's digital strategy and standards · implements and monitors the digital transformation of the federal administration · develops cross-cutting digital platforms and services in collaboration with federal organizations · proposes measures to reduce administrative complexity and burdens for businesses, citizens, associations and public administrations · calculates the costs arising from regulations and administrative formalities · promotes, proposes and coordinates administrative simplification initiatives within the federal administration and other organizations When it comes to security, DG SD collaborates closely with the internal IT team. This role is therefore intended to support the when it comes to securityoperations. Job Description· Implementing and improving information security techniques and tools for infrastructure services, in line with established security policies. · Identifying potential infrastructure vulnerabilities and implementing necessary hardening measures. · Developing and maintaining operating procedures. · Managing security alerts and conducting vulnerability remediation. · Following up on penetration tests. · Administering security-related infrastructure components, such as Web Application Firewalls. · Collaborating with development teams to integrate security considerations into the application lifecycle. · Designing and implementing security strategies for cloud environments. Profile Requirements You have a bachelor or a Master degree in informatics or equivalent through experienceYou have at least 5 years of pertinent experience You are Fluent in French and DutchHard skills:
· Proficiency in Linux (RHEL) and network administration. · Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestrators, including Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift. · Strong familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Ansible and Terraform, coupled with expertise in infrastructure monitoring solutions such as ELK, Prometheus, and Grafana. · Understanding of programming principles. · Prior exposure to Azure or AWS is highly desirable. · Knowledge of Windows systems administration is considered a plus. Soft skills:
· Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with both technical and business representatives. · Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a team. · Ability to produce high-quality documentation. · Proactive, keeping abreast of emerging technologies, industry trends and potential threats.
