·Developing and ensuring an outstanding performance of the à la carte menu, adapted to the seasons and the expectations of our guests.·You will plan, lead and inspire the kitchen team to deliver consistent top quality food.·Ensuring compliance with the highest standards of food safety and hygiene.·Collaborate with venue staff to bring unparalleled guest experiences to a plate·Budget management and inventory management to control costs.·Support the brand standards through training and assessments of your team·Maintaining good relationships with suppliers for the best ingredients.·Lead by example and inspire our team to live the Hilton Values of Hospitality, Integrity, Leadership, Teamwork, Ownership and Acting Now to ensure our guests experience at all time the light and warmth of hospitality when visiting our Hilton Hotel.
What we're looking for:
·You have a valid working permit to be able to work in Belgium, this procedure takes some time so be sure to have this ready before applying.·Experience as a chef preferably in a four-star hotel or a thorough brasserie environment with a strong French base.·Excellent culinary skills and a passion for creative cooking.·Leadership qualities and the ability to train, direct and motivate a team.·Stress resistance and the ability to perform under pressure during a busy service.·You have excellent communication skills to be able to collaborate effectively with different departments.·You are flexible and willing to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings and weekends.·You have digital skills and are good with programs such as Word, Excel, Birchstreet and Outlook.
