As a ProductStewardship(Sr)Specialist, you will be responsible for developing, implementing and adapting PS policies.
Furthermore, you will provide timely and quality support to the ProductStewardship & Sustainability team to support full product compliance.
This according to JSR Micro's core values and adherence to quality, safety and environmental standards.Key Responsibilities:
You will apply knowledge to efficiently manage daily activities related to PS policies and processes and resolve daily issues in a timely manner.You perform the appropriate assessment of products and raw materials in relation to customers' regulations or chemical policies.You track developments in legislation, interpret and communicate the impact on product and business.You propose and implement improvements in assigned PS areas.You actively contribute to assigned projects and bring up improvement opportunities.You provide excellent and right in time (help desk or customer) support and functional advice to JSR staff.
Who are you? First, you have an eye for the social value and impact of chemistry on our lives and are committed to sustainable business practices.Suitable entry tickets to the world of ProductStewardship are bachelor's/master's degrees in chemistry, biology, bioengineering, pharmaceutical sciences or equivalent.A solid interest in organic chemistry is a must.
Knowledge of (eco)toxicology is a nice to have.Knowledge of EU chemicals legislation, in particular REACH and CLP.
You are fluent in reading and interpreting legal texts, and you find your way around the web like no other so that you can track down all relevant information on chemicals and legislation.
Experience with IUCLID and CHESAR is an asset.You are eager to learn, independent, communicative and customer oriented in a varied job where you have to quickly familiarize yourself with new material.You are interested in digitalization and automation to help make the department more efficient.You express yourself fluently in English.
Knowledge of Dutch and/or other EU languages are an additional asset.
