Local Unit & Position DescriptionTo strengthen the Area Sales Team, we are looking for a Key Account (KAM) for Area Benelux & France, with strong focus on enhancing our business in Belgium.
The KAM is responsible for driving business expansion and maintaining customer relationships. In the role as a KAM owns and coordinates the customer relationship for assigned Key Accounts, being responsible to drive business development and sales for Newbuildings, Class transfers, Advisory projects and contract renewals.
The position will be based in the Antwerp area.
Maintaining close relations to the existing customer base.
The candidate will be expected to be available for daily face to face meetings with customers and internal stakeholders as required.
Traveling from time to time may be expected to support events or customers interaction.
You will be part of a diverse and dynamic Area Sales Team reporting to Area Business Development Manager.
Main tasks Take a lead to build trust and strengthen relations with key decision makers and influencers within the assigned group of key accounts, enabling deep understanding and foresight of their needs and building a foundation for achieving a status of preferred business partner.
Together with the Area Sales Team create customer centric plans with impactful goals, strategy and actions that ultimately lead to identifying and securing new business, retaining existing business and ensuring high customer satisfaction.
Work together with the Technical Service Manager (TSM) to coordinate delivery of technical support and after sales services.
Identify and develop sales opportunities to capture new business and keep track of customer’s existing contract portfolio to ensure renewal of agreements within due date.
Identify important local events for Branding opportunities.
Join and maintain active participation in events, networking opportunities and memberships, including presenting at some events.
Monitor and report on the sales funnel and the performance of the assigned Key Accounts.
As part of the Area Sales Team work collaboratively across DNV extensive network to ensure strategy execution.
Document and keep track of customers’ opportunities and existing business.
Proactively stay up to date with industry and market trends and best practices as well as DNV products, services, and processes to remain relevant towards customers and prospects.
Be responsible for the accuracy of customer master data and activity data in the CRM related to the assigned key accounts as defined in the Management system Support resolving invoicing claims and follow up accounts’ receivables in close cooperation with Finance to ensure timely payment and solution.

Bachelor / Master in relevant fieldMin.
