Antwerp - Belgium/ Utrecht - Netherlands Revision Date March 2024 Position Description The primary role of the JuniorTechnicalConsultant is to provide scientific knowledge, technical support training and veterinary support for the parasitology pet health portfolio to the PH sales teams and to Pet Health customers in Belgium and the Netherlands.
The role also provides a unique opportunity to initiate and manage technical activities in order to maximize current and future sales of Elanco antiparasitic products.
Reports to Head of Business Unit Pet Health, Benelux Functions, Duties, Tasks JuniorTechnicalConsultant * provides technical input for the overall Para Pet Health business strategy in Belgium and the Netherlands * supports the marketing positioning of current products and claims through technical inputs, creative thinking and plays a key role in training and coaching the sales teams for specified areas/ products (parasitology).
* works closely with the account managers of the different regions for the development of technical activities in order to become a strong value adding partner for Vets, SAMs, Retail and Pharmacists.
* provides support on technical questions and complaints related to our product portfolio including potential adverse events & pharmacovigilance reporting.
* is responsible for the technical accuracy of para promotional materials.
Minimum Qualification (education, experience and/or training, required certifications) * Veterinary qualification * Dutch and French speaking (advanced or fluent) * Empathy and passion for the PET health business * Result driven and team player able to work with a high degree of customer focus.
* Excellent organizational and implementations skills.
Ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize.
* Demonstrated success in persuasion, influence and negotiation skills.
* Demonstrated ability of technical/scientific knowledge at appropriate levels.
