The IVVQengineer will be part of the System Engineering discipline of THALES BELGIUM, which is responsible for the system engineering and integration of solutions for homeland and defense customers.
The IVVQengineer will be responsible for the integration, verification, validation and qualification of the embedded tactical solutions in the laboratory, on target platforms (vehicular, soldier or terrestrial infrastructure) and in the field test campaigns.Inside the IVVQ team, you are responsible to define and participate in all the IVVQ activities.
From the definition of the strategy to the testing and the results collection and analysis.
You actively participate in the quality of the delivered products and the customer satisfaction.Main Responsibilities:
Assemble the solution/product elements in a logical and controlled manner to evaluate the design, behavior, interactions and performance,Write Test cases according to the requirementsVerify that all requirements against which the solution/product has been designed are fulfilled in accordance with the test strategy, defined in the IVVQ Plan;Where possible, automate the test procedure to optimize the verification & validation campaigns.Run test sequences based on debugged test scriptsCarry out both manual and automated tests to establish the quality of the system under testProvide regular and accurate reports of progressWrite test reports and various descriptive documentsDocument the test procedures and test reports in the IVVQ tools & generate formal documentationAnalyze and interpret test results and provide inputs to the subcontractors and development teams for solving issues;Contribute in project status meetings daily scrums and agile planning as required by the projectProfile:
Good understanding and knowledge of IT systems, IP networks and serial protocols.Network skills such as :
In-depth knowledge of network protocols, such as TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS and VLANIT security skills to protect networks against cyberattacksProblem-solving skills to quickly identify network issues and resolve them effectivelyExperience in network administration (LAN, WAN, VPN)Troubleshooting of IP networks, including IPv6.Ability to develop automated test programsYou are familiar with automation methods and one of the following programming languages or scripting tools:
Robot Framework, Bash, Python, …Technically passionate and curious for technologies.Microsoft office (Word, VISIO, Excel)Rigorousness, commitment and accountability, ability to take and meet commitmentsGood communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate technical issues to team members;Fluent in English, Fluent in French is a plus.One or more of the following is a strong differentiator:
Knowledge / understanding of System engineering lifecycle and of the IVVQ process;Experience with one or more of the following tools:
