Your role will be a global role, and your goal isto ensure that all Group companies have the necessary cybersecurity controls inplace to safeguard their information, IT environment and business operationsagainst internal and external cybersecurity threats.You will work with subsidiaries of NSHD worldwideon shaping their cybersecurity defenses, providing cyber threat intelligence toall Group companies and implementing global and regional security solutions.
To reach your goal, you combine your technical cybersecurity knowledge with projectmanagement and people management skills.Included in this global role, would be the following tasks:
Continuously review, evaluate and analyze Group company cybersecurity capabilities.Identify security gaps in existing security countermeasures, prepare remediation plans and present plans to senior IT and InfoSec management for approval.Keep track of an ever-changing security environment and cyber threat landscape.
Share knowledge and keep peers in the organization on a high level of security awareness.Work with the IT GRC manager to define technical information security standards and drive subsidiaries and vendors to compliance with corporate information security policies.Work with local IT and InfoSec teams to analyze the effectiveness of their existing security controls and implement the needed improvements.Digest patching and CVE advisories and provide patching guidance to IT teams.Look for opportunities for implementing global SecOps processes and solutions that enhance the cybersecurity posture of all Group companies.Coordinate the work of third-party vendors providing information security services and solutions to the Group and its subsidiaries.Perform root cause analysis of security incidents and follow up remediation and improvement actions with applicable teams.Coach global and local IT/InfoSec teams on reaching KPI targets for vulnerability management, patching, penetration testing and other relevant security controls.Raise security awareness and knowhow across the internal IT organization and local teams through comprehensive documentation, trainings and workshops.Manage projects and initiatives included in the global information security program, implement security controls on global and regional level and drive standardization of the cybersecurity toolset across Group companies.Establish collaboration with and between IT and InfoSec teams in different regions worldwide.Manage globally implemented cybersecurity solutions and platforms.
Job requirements A minimum of 5 years of experience in Information Security with 3 years of experience in an information security management role.Bachelor’s or master’s degree or equivalent through experience.Ability to understand business goals and to align the information security program and countermeasures to them; understands the business impact of security controls and policies.Experience with ethical hacking exercises such as penetration tests, red and blue team activities.Experience working with SIEM solutions and collaborating with SOC teams.Familiar with cloud and enterprise IT infrastructure, network security, protocols, and applications; able to review technical concepts to identify gaps and improvements.Expert knowledge on cyber threats, vulnerabilities, attack vectors, tactics and techniques.Experience with incident response planning.Familiar with common information security frameworks like [ISO 2700x, NIST CSF, COBIT, etc.]CISSP, CISM, SANS or other relevant security-related certifications are considered an asset.Knowledge of compliance standards like [GDPR, PCI-DSS, HIPAA, J-SOX, etc.] is a plus.Result oriented, high energy, and initiative-taking.Strong problem solving and analytical skills.Strong project management skills and experience in creating and managing project plans, including budgeting and resource allocation, in an international context.Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.Fluent in English, both spoken and written.This position is a global role and will be based in our offices in Olen(Belgium).The final candidate will have availability to travel.
