Managing day-to-day operations, setting up and animate meetings and workshops (internal and external), driving transformation projects like automation, process and productivity improvement. As Expert, you will be responsible for reporting and KPIs of Midcorp Underwriting, actively advocating the interests of the valuechain and contributing to the creation of synergy within the organization.
Your report directly to the ValueChain lead Midcorp BE.

Your main responsibilities will be:
Represent the valuechainmidcorp on meetings with brokers, clients and internal stakeholder.
Support and provide input on the creation of the underwriting strategy to exploit new sectors/segments and emerging markets.
Actively contribute to E2E service delivery by identifying and driving productivity improvement opportunities, service improvement opportunities,… Drive growth on financial ratios, monitor, analyze and report on KPIs, and lead projects and management of teams.
Act as a charismatic networker, work closely with stakeholders, and ensure the correct, timely, and budget-compliant delivery of agreed results in the project contract.
Direct, organize, plan, and evaluate the operation of the project group and collaborators, and ensure a good supplier-customer relationship with Allianz end-users and other parties.
Introducing more data-centric analysis and follow-up, optimizing underwriting platforms and tools, and aligning group underwriting strategy with a broad risk appetite.
Understanding the business context and managing projects delivering solutions/capabilities answering the business needs and priorities.
Required skills and experience:
We are looking for a candidate with extensive experience in P&C (non life) preferably in commercial underwriting.
You obtained a Bachelor or Master in Insurance, Finance or related field and have around 10-15 years relevant experience.
Experienced project - and people manager.
Proven track record in productivity improvement (process and automation).
You have experience with exploiting markets and establishing customer retention.
You should have a deep understanding of the business model and manage local & group strategy and goals, along with proven soft skills in communication, leadership, and change management. Finally, you must be fluent in English with Mother tongue Dutch and/or French.
