Within the Renson’s R&D Digital Solutions team, we are looking for an experienced EmbeddedSoftwareEngineer to develop and maintain our embedded Linux platform and EmbeddedSoftware applications.
You will collaborate closely with a team of Electronic Engineers and EmbeddedSoftwareEngineers to develop the software for our innovative connected devices that contribute directly to our mission. Responsibilities:
Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, from concept and design to deployment and maintenance.Design and implement embeddedsoftware solutions on top of our embedded Linux platform.Use modern softwareengineering practices:
version control, code reviews, CI/CD, multiple environments and automated testing and deployment.Develop and maintain automated test applications to ensure adherence to our quality standards.Setup and maintain manufacturing software and test software.Offer occasional assistance to colleagues.Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and standards related to embeddedsoftware development.ProfilePassionate about technology and software.Bachelor or master’s degree in Electronics, ICT, computer sciences, or equal.Proven experience in embeddedsoftware development, preferably in the IoT / Smart Building domains.Proficiency in C/C++ and Python programming languages.Knowledge of embedded Linux and bash scripting.Knowledge of software development best practices, including version control, testing methodologies, and code documentation.Familiarity with electronics and hardware debugging tools.Knowledge of IOT communication technologies (such as Wi-Fi, TCP/IP and Zigbee)Knowledge of software security principles and practices.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to work both in a collaborative environment, as well as independently.English knowledge, written and spoken.Good communication skills.OfferWork in an inspiring team of R&D engineers on state-of-the-art products using modern softwareengineering practices.We offer a function in a growing and financially healthy company with professional development possibilities.You will receive a contract of indefinite duration with a competitive salary with fringe benefits adjusted according to your experience and potential.12 extra holidaysStrong focus on training and development.
