It analyses the impact of new policy initiatives on customs processes and IT systems and collaborates closely with internal (policy and legal units, IT units in charge of the implementation of customs IT systems) and external (Member States, Trade associations) stakeholders to agree on the planning, scope and expected implementation.
In this context the team is looking for a PQTM resource to provide IT business project management support for the digitalisation of EU customs processes, in particular customs processes related to the UCC, especially relating to the import and related processes and systems.
More specifically we are looking for a driven, result-oriented team player to Support in the planning and monitoring of the UCC IT implementation, in particular of the Centralised Clearance for Import (CCI) and National Import System (NIS) upgrade; Analyse customs processes in the light of the UCC and any other policy initiative impacting customs processes and the related IT environment; Contribute actively to the implementation of the IT segment of the Code, amongst others related to CCI; Perform business analysis; Define and review Business Process Models to support and ensure the IT implementation of (possibly new) legal provisions; Analyse and review business and functional specifications; Ensure legal and business requirements are correctly implemented in the CCI system that is being developed; Consult with stakeholders in order to define and agree on common processes and on details concerning functions, data and rules for the IT-systems under the UCC; Prepare, review and follow-up change requests; Prepare meetings, workshops, training and communication material; Produce and/or review documents needed in the context of the management of and communication about specific UCC projects; Provide ad hoc support.
