These are crucial pillars to diversify our roadmap activities and identify new product applications.As dryermedia QRM supplychainengineer, you take the lead in strategic scouting projects to identify new suppliers or raw materials while striving for continuous improvement in our supplychain and reductions in cost and lead time by applying QRM principles.
You nurture fruitful supplier relations in your international network and you report on delivery and quality performance, with sustainability as a decisive factor in your decision-making process.
Furthermore, you actively collaborate in product development projects as a member of the project team, broadening your product knowledge and preparing the supplychain with all logistic partners such that new end products can be introduced on the production line.
Consecutively, you support production continuity in alignment with the operators of our self-steering team with effective inventory management, continuous monitoring of our lead times and transparent communication to our internal customers situated within several divisions of the AtlasCopco Group.
Finally, you are encouraged to revise framework agreements with contracted parties and to engage in commercial negotiations concerning new asset investments.Preliminary knowledgeYou have a degree in engineering or applied economics, or equivalent because of previous experience in a technical-commercial or logistic work environment.
You are fluent in Dutch and English.
You are proficient in MS Office, Power Bi and the common ERP platforms within AtlasCopco (BPCS, Be2Net, SAP) and you display an interest to delve into the development and usage of Power Apps.
Passionate with technology and innovation, you refine your dryermedia product knowledge and the functionality of the different components through training-on-the-job.
