Have a relevant University degree and around 15+ years’ of professional experience in policymaking, research, evaluation and analysis;Have an excellent understanding of EU publicpolicymaking, including of the Better Regulation Guidelines;Can demonstrate an ability to direct and quality assure reports or bids for EU clients.About the role:
Oversee policy research and evaluation projects as project director or quality director;Assign work packages to project teams and manage their work;Show analytical and methodologicalleadership in the team by contributing to further develop cutting-edge methods, tools and techniques;Oversee certain client and partner relationships;Lead tenders and reports for the European Commission, governments, and other EU clients;Collaborate closely with other project teams, and external partners and stakeholders; andContribute to our business strategy and development plans.Required experience:
Degree in social sciences, publicpolicy, or other relevant discipline;Around 15 years’ work experience in research and evaluation of EU policies and programmes;Project management and direction experience, including management of large project teams;Experience in managing communities of practice would be an advantage;Business development experience, including leading or contributing to large proposals;Understanding of financial reporting and metrics;Exceptional qualitative and quantitative research and analytical skills;Excellent writing skills, including editing and proofreading skills;Deep understanding of European policy making process and EU Institutions;Highly developed, interpersonal skills and self-motivation;High level of attention to detail and accuracy; andExperience with Excel essential; experience with NVIVO, SPSS, STATA, etc.
