What you’ll do:
Collaborate with stakeholders to define the architecture and design principles of the data developer platform on GCP, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.Lead the evaluation, selection, and implementation of GCP services and tools to support the platform's infrastructure requirements, including compute, storage, networking, and security.Improve the developer experience on the platform, including streamlining development workflows, enhancing tooling, and promoting best practices.Define and implement data lifecycle management strategies, including data ingestion, storage, processing, and analytics, leveraging GCP data services such as BigQuery, Dataflow, and Pub/Sub.Establish and enforce security policies, access controls, and data governance measures to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data on the platform, in compliance with industry regulations and standards.Implement robust monitoring and logging solutions to track platform performance and usage metrics, and proactively identify and address performance bottlenecks and optimization opportunities.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including BI&Anaytics, IT, and AI/ML team to align platform development efforts with business objectives.
Document architecture designs, technical specifications, and best practices for internal and external audiences.Stay on-top of emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in cloud computing, data management, and platformengineering.
Continuously evaluate and integrate new tools and techniques to enhance the platform's capabilities and competitiveness.What you’ll need:
