Work closely with IT developers or vendors to design, develop, and implement system upgrades or customizations.Implement data integration solutions to facilitate seamless exchange of information between customs systems and external stakeholders (e.g., importers, exporters, regulatory agencies).Develop training materials and conduct training sessions for customs staff and end-users on system usage, best practices, and regulatory requirements.Proactively seek feedback from users and stakeholders to enhance system usability and effectiveness.Participate in cross-functional projects or committees aimed at improving customs operations and IT infrastructure.
Your Skills and Experiences Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Proven experience in IT systems support, maintenance, and development, preferably in a customs or trade environment.Strong understanding of customs regulations, import/export processes, and international trade practices.Proficiency in database management systems (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle) and programming languages (e.g., Java, Python).Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Certification in relevant technologies or methodologies (e.g., ITIL, Agile) is a plus.
