Our Digital Experience studios expand across North America, Europe and APAC Responsibilities Contribute in developing and innovating our mixed-methods design research practice, with an specific hands-on approach on GenAI research bringing a combination of extensive experience with research and an entrepreneurial mindset. Plan, conduct and define the research approach and research methods (both qualitative and quantitative) across one or different projects considering desired design outcomes and client engagement.Lead the synthesis process from in-field research to the final research report; identifying themes and insights, finding synergies, connections, and patterns to guide design.Prepare and execute validation of concepts, prototypes and live products providing insights on product and service improvement opportunities.Build trusted relationships with design, strategy and data science partners to drive impact from your research Your team This position is part of a new Design research practice within Cognizant Digital Experience Central Europe.
You will work in a global and diverse team developing design innovation projects in a wide variety of industries, from healthcare to financial services, from agriculture to technology. Your role sits in the intersection between strategy and design, together with a team of strategist, designers and data scientists you will bring innovation and depth to every project.
You are part of a dynamic and talented community of researchers across Europe with different expertise’s within the design research field. What you bring to the teamx Master of broad set of qualitative and quantitative research methods in the development of digital products, services and experiences.
(e.g.
surveys, analytics, and A/B tests, usability tests, card sorting, ethnography research, contextual inquiries, diary studies, in-depth interviews, co-creation methods,)Extensive experience working as a UX/Design Researcher with Digital products in agency environments or in-house setting.Proven track record of translating findings into actionable insights for product/service/business design, demonstrated in your portfolio of recent workYou know how to draw insights from multiple, diverse data streams and are able to synthesize quantitative and qualitative data in a way that connnects with strategic objectivesStrong sense of independence, ownership, and initiative; ability to determine what to work on, how to accomplish it, and when to deliver.Comfortable working in a multi-disciplinary team to iteratively evolve the plan of actions based on team findings.Comfortable with ambiguous and unstructured questions, you communicate your research findings in creative and impactful ways.Co-creation / support in translating key insights into actionable decisions with project Strategy Lead.Willingness to travel for up to 25% of time .(Within the Benelux and occasionally to Germany, Switzerland or Nordics).
