a diverse, highly skilled, and enthusiastic team on the mission to reinvent the world of sports.    About the role     We are looking for a Computer Vision Engineer to reinforce our talented and enthusiastic Automated Capture team.

Through the use of AI and patented algorithms, Sportradar's Automated Capture System films and live streams high-level sporting events from all over the world without any human interaction.  On one side, the Automated Capture team designs and applies Computer Vision algorithms to leverages the power of sports data for hundreds of business customers and millions of sports enthusiasts.  On the other side, because the systems gather petrabytes of data and videos, this team also constantenously optimizes their efficiency and scaling.  Join the #1 sport’s data company to tackle exciting real-world production problems, and help us change the way sport is consumed.    Responsibilities   Research, design, implement, integrate and optimize state-of-the-art CV/ML algorithms for our existing and upcoming products  Use CV/ML to automate and simplify the day-to-day work of manual operators  Contribute to the development and maintenance of the backend on which the CV/ML algorithms run  Share knowledge within the team located across two or more locations      The challenge     Handle the entire production line:

from research to the integration of the developed CV algorithms.  Adapt solutions to fit hardware constraints  Write clean, scalable, optimized, documented, and understandable code  Integrate in complex systems developed by different teams  Participate in code review processes, when area of expertise is applicable  Build reusable code libraries, when those are required      Your skills     At least 4 years of professional experience with Computer Vision and Machine Learning (3D reconstruction, image and video processing, object detection, tracking, etc.)  Proficiency in C/C++ (+2 years of professional experience).   Solid programming skills with Python  Excellent communication skills in English and ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts.  Must be comfortable with modern software development methodologies such as agile development, git, code review, etc.  Experience in AWS environment  A team player with a strong sense of collaboration and personal development.  Be creative and innovation focused  Strong organizational and problem-solving skills  Additional Information Sportradar is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
