The role continues after financial close of the project into the execution phase and even after construction to assure the full set-up of the citizenparticipation.
The role will be based in our Brussels office with a focus on the Belgian upcoming Princess Elizabeth Zone tenders.
In this role you will work together with the Dutch / Benelux team and requires regular travel to the Utrecht office in The Netherlands.Your future plans:
The CitizenParticipationManager for Belgian offshore wind tenders will report to the Head of Offshore Development Belgium and will:
Coordinate a stable and effective project team with focus areas of citizenparticipation, based on the Royal Decree, tender procedure and award criteriaDevelop and deliver the optimal set-up for the citizenparticipation to fulfil tender requirements as part of the overall bid for the upcoming offshore wind projects in Belgium Write the citizenparticipation plan to be integrated in the bid for the Belgian Offshore tendersWith the support of legal and financial experts, develop the necessary project structures to setup the financial prospectuses for the citizenparticipation and all the necessary contracts needed to realize the (in)direct citizenparticipation.Develop with communication experts a communication plan to involve as much stakeholders as possible to come to a successful citizenparticipation.Long term relationship building, liaise on a continuous basis with public authorities (for example Belgian Federal Government, Ministry of Energy), RECs, partners, and other stakeholdersYou are responsible for the full citizenparticipation package in development & construction phase and during the full operational lifetime of the project.Become the expert in citizenparticipation for RWE to support other Development projects for offshore wind farms within RWE Development.
Your profile:
A master degree, preferably in renewable energy, economy, social sciencesExperience in leadership, project management and development Experience & performance management skills and delivery focusedSolid understanding of tender requirements and ability to translate them into a concrete citizenparticipation strategy and the ability to critically look at the bid documents from the angle of the tendering bodyAbility to negotiate with potential partners, including development partnersAbility to maintain sight of the ‘big picture’ and overarching expectationsFluent (written and verbal) in Dutch, French and English and ability to motivate peopleAccustomed to work within a strong financial and legal framework of standards and have an authenticity in bringing financial products to a broader group of citizens, companies and institutional investors with a high awareness of identifying the risks in an atmosphere of trustYou have good people management skillsOur Benefits:
