As COO with a growth mindset, you are co-owner of the business strategy development and translate it into everyday operational reality.
You look ahead and provide proactive structures and instruments to achieve our goals.
You ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction, building strong relations and provide excellent services, and balance it with revenue growth and strategic account management.
You are working closely with the CEO and the board of directors on achieving long-term targets.
You drive the daily operations of the company and work with the team to ensure maximum growth, to promote efficient cooperation, and to support individual development.
You are responsible for all daily customer-facing activities and internal support functions, from policy formulation to implementation, and encourage teamwork to achieve ambitious goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership :
Collaboration with other C-suite executives, including the CEO, to develop and execute UBench’s overall strategy and translate it into actionable plans, while aligning operational efforts with organizational objectives and business goals.
Operational Excellence :
Manage operations (across different countries) and foster operational excellence through process standardization/ optimization, resource management and the implementation of a performance measurement/ management system that supports efficiency and scalability, while ensuring business growth.
Cross-functional Collaboration :
Collaboration with other departments such as sales, marketing, and product development to ensure seamless cross-functional operations.
Communication and Stakeholder Management :
Effective communication with internal (C-suite executives, CEO, board members, team) and external stakeholders (customers and partners) and representing the company at an international level.
Requirements Executive Leadership:
Minimum of three years of experience in (executive) leadership roles, preferably as a COO/ MD or in a similar capacity and proven ability to contribute to the development and execution of the company's overall strategy.
Industry Knowledge:
Experience in the automotive/ FLI / SaaS industry.
In-depth understanding of SaaS business model, including product development cycles and customer lifecycle.
Technology and Innovation :
Familiarity with technology-driven industries, innovation, and leveraging technology and methodologies such as agile for operational improvements.
Team Leadership :
You have excellent social and communication skills and proven experience in building and leading high-performing teams across various functional areas.
Change Management :
Skill in navigating and leading through organizational change, particularly in a growing international context.
Financial Management :
Budgeting, financial planning, and analysis to support operational decision-making.
Scaling International Operations:
Proven track record in managing and scaling international operations including collaboration in international remote / decentral teams to accommodate business growth.
Risk Management, Legal and Compliance :
Ability to identify and assess operational risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
Familiarity with legal considerations specific to the SaaS industry, such as data privacy, intellectual property and contractual agreements as well as of regulatory and compliance requirements - ensuring that operations align with these standards.
Bachelor's/Master's degree in business administration plus strong technical / digital understanding.
Fluent in English, Dutch and other languages are a plus.
