Our Compliance Team supports the AML Compliance Officers of our different legal entities, with executing their duties - portfolio risk assessment and activity planning, reporting, training of client-facing professionals, reviewing proposed KYC procedures and technology controls, testing the completeness and quality of KYC profiles, assisting professional staff with enhanced vigilance questions and analysing suspicious transactions.
In addition the firm has re-organised the creation of KYC profiles into a KYC hub as part of a broader Middle Office transformation programme.
The Compliance team advises the team KYC hub, and provides coaching to the KYC hub leader to continually enhance quality . We’re looking for an AML Programme Leader (Deputy AML ComplianceOfficer) to lead our overall AML programme, to support our AML COs, and to coach KYC analysts, driving quality and consistency in the KYC hub.Your impactAs an AML ProgrammeManager(deputy AML ComplianceOfficer) you’ll make an impact by:
Keeping up to date on legal requirements and ensuring these are translated into the PwC environment (policies, procedures, training)Making annual risk assessment and reports for the AML COs of the different legal entitiesMaintaining risk factors current - jurisdictions, industries etc Owns the AML Policy, proposing updates where relevant and translates it into clear work instructions for KYC analysts.
Providing on-the-job coaching to the KYC Hub Lead via the review of high risk files and quality improvement feedback sessions.
Coaches KYC hub lead to be able to have conversations with clients about due diligence requirements. Advises PwC partners and staff with regards to KYC and atypical transactions on their clients and engagementsAdvises the Middle Office programme leader on KYC Applications and processes; meaningPrepares training programmes for client-facing staff and partnersAnalyses atypical transactionsDesignsand executes monitoring testing over the work of the KYC hubPrepares the annual internal assessment by PwC of its AML programme?About youYou have a Master’s degree or equivalent by experienceYou have working experience of at least 5 years in KYC/AMLYou see challenges as an opportunityYou have demonstrated presentation and facilitation skillsYou work in a structured way and are able to manage stressful circumstancesYou understand the Belgian law and are able to translate this into new adapted procedures within a non banking environmentYou have a natural ability to be able to join the big picture to everyday activities and processes You can clearly articulate the goals of the AML programme to senior stakeholders and understand both business and compliance imperatives Life at PwC BelgiumOur culture and workplace are something we’re proud of.
