Project Our goal is to develop innovative detectors for patient QA (dosimetry for patients) in radiation therapy.
This detector aims to elevate patient dosimetry to a new level, significantly enhancing performances compared to existing products.
We explore various semiconductor technologies (CMOS, aSi, TFT, IGZO, Polysilicium), architectures (CCD, Hybrid pixel, Active pixel sensor), and dose measurement methods (diodes, ionization chambers).
You will coordinate and guide research efforts among different stakeholders (Cyclotron Research Center, Louvain Polytechnic School, and industry partners) to create a viable product.
