Who you areYou hold a PhD degree in (Bio)Physics, Electrical or Biomedical Engineering.
You have several years of theoretical and practical experience in AcousticImaging.
You have proven experience with ultrasound systems (.
Verasonics), acoustic characterization and application-oriented ultrasound imaging.
You are proficient in the use of MATLAB or Python, FEM software (.
COMSOL) and specialized ultrasound simulation tools (.
k-wave or Field-II).
Experience with MEMS design and/or microfabrication knowledge are an asset.
Experience with in-vivo experiments is an asset.
Any project management experience is an asset.
The imec environment requires a good team player with good communication and reporting skills.
