You will identify and exploit opportunities with your client base and share knowledge across your individual account lists to identify trends and associated opportunities.You are responsible for devising and executing ‘customer success plans’ to ensure your client base derives maximum ROI from the subscription, thus securing renewals and achieving uplift where the opportunity exists.An upshot of effectively rolling out customer success plans will be gaining a greater understanding of your customers’ business strategy and needs.
Pairing this with the insight you gain from customers’ product engagement, you should work to uncover and identify customers’ needs and then match relevant expansion opportunities.As senior account lead, the post holder will be a critical member of the TIG enterprise team working collaboratively with marketing, our content team and partners to understand and customise our proposition to clients.What you will be doing:
Accurate reporting and forecastingAdhering to renewal schedules and keeping account admin accurate and up to dateDeveloping relationships with client base, understanding their business and the sector and through a consultative account – management approach driving usage and valueOpening uplift opportunities through new budget lines, departments and where appropriate, growing accounts into global agreementsIdentifying opportunities for Advisory Services & Training products and selling these in where appropriateEnsuring maximum revenue generation through effective negotiationArranging and presenting at regular client meetingsWorking collaboratively with internal support teams – with the Client Services team on likes of usage reports; with Marketing on marketing campaignsRequesting sector-specific support from Editorial and Marketing teams to maximize relevance of our product to your client baseAttending and networking within the industry at events and conferencesStaying abreast of the subscription content, the industry as a whole to flag relevant data to your client base in a timely mannerOrganised, methodical, process-driven and with an eye for detail Behaviours and Knowledge:

Minimum 5 years sales experienceProven track record of meeting sales targets in a consultative sales environmentExcellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skillsClient-facing experience with high value customersOutstanding conversation skills, commercial acumen and adept at uncovering prospects’ business challengesExperience in negotiating high value contracts with procurementPassion and interest in all things digitalEntrepreneurial with a problem-solving mentality and positive attitudeMotivation to work independently and collaboratively with colleagues Desired:
