To strengthen our team in Groot Bijgaarden, we are looking for a:
ProcurementCategoryManager Your Mission As a ProcurementCategoryManager you will get the opportunity to craft and execute the purchasing strategy for chemicals, coloring, yeast, and other local commodities, managing a 40M€ spend across our 5 Belgian plants.
You will report directly to the Country ProcurementManager What you will do? Category and Supplier Management:
You champion the category management process, aligning strategies with business objectives.
You foster effective supplier relationships and minimize risk through sound supply and supplier management strategies.
Drive innovation and explore new suppliers to enhance PURATOS's leverage.
Contract Negotiation and Risk Management:
You anticipate and address issues impacting PURATOS during the contract, ensuring AQSCI performance criteria are integrated.
Lead the RFI/RFP process, bid evaluation, and vendor contracting.
Direction Setting and Implementation:
You align procurement objectives with PURATOS's business direction and objectives.
You understand and implement procurement strategies in line with PURATOS's business strategy.
Performance Management:
You extract relevant information from Group reporting systems for analysis and decision-making.
You drive savings and working capital improvement targets, actively seeking synergies across Belgian plants.
You report savings according to Puratosprocurement savings measurement process.
You collaborate with Pricing to optimize profit margins by managing raw materials price evolutions.
Who are we looking for? You have a Masters degree in procurement, supply chain, or related field.
You have 5+ years of experience in procurement, with expertise in category and supplier management.
You have strong negotiation and contract management skills.
You are fluent in English, Dutch, and/or French.
You are proficient in Microsoft Office, SAP knowledge is a plus.
