For our IT department in Cologne we are looking for a IT License Manager (m/f/d) YOUR TASKS:
Manage and monitor the license portfolio on a regular basis, identify licenses that are about to expire and develop optimization strategies.
Ensure compliance with software licenses, prepare license balances and perform qualified cost analyses Generate workflows from release to inventory management and ensure efficient management of software licenses Stay up to date on market developments related to license models and integrate industry best practices Document and manage license agreements and inventories, assist in the procurement of new software products Assist with external audits and perform internal license audits to ensure compliance with license agreements Assist in monitoring the IT budget, particularly with regard to license spend YOUR PROFILE:
You have a degree in computer science, business informatics, business administration or an equivalent qualification.
You have several years of professional experience in license management with in-depth knowledge of industry practices.
Ideally, you have experience with license metrics from major software vendors such as Microsoft or SAP You have expertise in conducting license audits You have a good written and oral command of German and English You have experience in the use of license management tools WE OFFER YOU:
