The Impact You Will Have Based in Antwerp (with flexibility for homeworking/hybrid working) and working in the FinancialLines team for the Benelux/Nordics region; you will actively contribute to dealing with existing clients & discover new opportunities.
Some of your specific responsibilities could include:
Underwrite profitable new & renewal business to meet the FinancialLines top & bottom-line plan & targets in accordance with the underwriting guidelines, underwriting authority & compliance requirements.
Focus on the placement of Multinational insurance programs.
Build up your files through financial analysis, risk assessment & the global pricing tools.
Negotiate price, terms & conditions.
Ensure accurate policy documentation and file maintenance.
Proactively support completion of policy administration & credit control processes.
Ownership of key accounts & clients.
Develop & maintain strong relationships with producers & clients in partnership with Market Management.
Participate in the development and execution of regional Underwriting strategy for FinancialLines.
Participate in cross regional activities as required / requested.
What You’ll Bring to the Role Bachelor’s or master’s degree – preferable degree in Economics, Law or other appropriate discipline.
Having relevant experience in the FinancialLines industry and/or in the Benelux is a plus.
Knowledge in the placement of multinational insurance programs is a plus.
You embrace agile working & engage in constant learning to adapt to the internal & external customer needs.
Proficient in MS Office applications.
Ability to express ideas and messages clearly, both written and verbally and expertise to sell an improvised or prepared audience a winning story.
Knowledge how to analyze complex data from multiple sources in detail.
