What you will do Responsibilities of the ComplianceSpecialist include but are not limited to:
Participating in reviewing, developing, and championing Victaulic’s Code of Conduct:
meticulously ensuring compliance with internal policies and procedures, conducting comprehensive training programs, and collaboratively working across the organization to guarantee adherence to pertinent laws and regulations.Act as a dedicated subject matter expert, steering Victaulic's anti-corruption and anti-bribery program to ensure continuous compliance with global laws and regulations relevant to our company.Participate in the development, implementation, and administration of policies, procedures, programs, and processes, aligning them with corporate and regulatory guidelines and directives.Support the development of compliance training materials, take the lead in conducting both internal and external compliance training and communication.
Collaborate with Internal Audit, Finance, HR, Logistics, Legal, and other departments to advance Victaulic's unwavering commitment to integrity and business ethics.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and address compliance risks.Compile and report compliance related data/information requests as necessary.Cultivate positive working relationships and open communication with regional Compliance personnel, serving as a resource for addressing issues or concerns raised by employees.Support activities to mitigate 3rd party risk, including annual distributor risk analysis, compliance due diligence reviews on suppliers, vendors, and customers, monitoring and reporting on compliance activities, and assisting in compliance investigations as needed.Proactively stay updated of evolving regulations, laws, and best practices relevant to Victaulic.Prepare and review government program requirements, including C-TPAT, ISA, and future FTZ opportunities, collaborating with product groups and suppliers to confirm HTSUS classifications and Country determinations.About You You have a Bachelor's degree in International Business and Trade, Logistics, Law, Finance, Business Administration, or similar3-5 years’ experience in a compliance role in a global companyKnowledgeable about national customs, export licensing, economic sanctions, ITAR, EAR, OFAC-administered sanctions, and .
anti-boycott regulations.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, demonstrating sound judgment in managing confidential and sensitive matters.
