As a team you shape the long-term architectural vision that allows the SNCB to realize their digital ambitions.
Together with the SNCB and with other experts in strategy, product, design, architecture, and engineering, you will facilitate the architectural process for new value propositions, business models, digital platforms, or services.
The ideal candidate will have experience in both SolutionArchitecture and Domain Architecture, and possess strong leadership and communication skills.Your responsibilities are the following:

Collaborate with the different business areas in order to plan team’s focus.Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure that their needs are being metProvide guidance and support to team members to help them achieve their goals and professional developmentGuide and mentor team members to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality solutionsAs domain architect:
Planning, execution & delivery:
Act as reliable partner towards NMBS-SNCB in building the strategic IT planning.Understand the bigger picture, shape the desired domain architecture and support the software delivery.Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure that solutions align with business requirements and goalsShape the desired architecture:
Evaluate new technologies and methodologies to ensure that the team is up-to-date with industry trendsTake the lead in modeling the strategic and future-proof product & platform architectureSeamlessly bridge the business and technological perspectives.
Vereisten Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related fieldMinimum relevant working experience of 10 years within a IT/delivery environment of which at least 5 years as Architect and 3 years as Teamlead.Demonstrated ability to design and deliver complex IT solutionsProven ability to manage and lead a team of architectsYou have strong skills in stakeholder management (technical and management profiles) and are an excellent communicator with a can-do mindset.You have a technical background allowing you to manage the technology productYou have an excellent understanding of common software engineering practices (CI/CD, DevOps, Shift left, ..
