Which is where you come in.What you will be doingUmicore has multiple SAP landscapes (S/4 and older versions.
The main SAP landscapes are hosted in the cloud and SAP RISE.
The SAP BASISteamlead will be responsible to ensure a stable and well performing SAP landscape.
Technicalproject management will be required to manage and steer related projects to implement new solutions and keep our existing landscape up to date.
Provide leadership and direction to a small technical sap basisteamYour responsibilities as SAP BASISteamlead and TechnicalProjectmanager will beManage the SAP Basis support team in areas such as; development of customer support processes, technical planning and work coordinationYou are responsible for the recommendation of required improvements to SAP environments.
You assure technical ability allowing proper and constructive management of all SAP services.
You participate in training and knowledge transfer to new employees.Ensures effective security, operation and peak performance of SAP environments Plan, recommend and manage SAP Basis and related monitoring to meet customer Service level agreementsResponsible for the development, maintenance and testing of contingency plans to meet the IT organization goals, Recommend and plan required lifecycle management for the hardware, software and network components affecting SAP services Plan, maintain & execute the Umicore SAP system landscape release management Take a leading role in solutions & integration architecture decisions, in a hybrid cloud landscapeAnalyze and build a profound understanding of the current SAP system landscape and solutions at Umicore.Keep up to date with the latest SAP Application technologies and solutionsAct as guardian for a stable and secure SAP landscape at UmicoreContinuously supervise the active SAP sourcing contracts to be aligned with Umicore needsParticipate in the SLA meetings with hosting / SAP Basis service providerContinuously and objectively evaluate the services delivered within the context of the SAP sourcing contract, measure and rank delivery of service levelsDrive & evaluate corrective actions in the area of the SAP Basis services Ensure pro-active continuous process improvement Manage the sourcing contract Change management process Control & evaluate the COF (change order form) procedure to meet with Umicore pricing agreements.
Deliver Budget and actual cost input for SAP sourcing services.
Lead the technical SAP BC projects from Umicore Promote effective communication and working relations within the team, IT customers, and business customers..
Assist and Support the SAP project & support teams Continuously cost driven solutions Assure technical ability that allows proper and constructive management of the SAP servicesResponsible for the recommendation of required improvements to SAP environments Participating in the Training and knowledge transfer to new employees Provides coaching and support to the SAP support teams in areas such as problem solving, technical tasks, work process and procedures to meet organizational objectives Assist and Supports the SAP project & application teams in identifying and implementation of technical SAP solutions Assist and support the SAP support team in identifying and implementing methods to improve efficiency and effectivenessManages SAP project support including scheduling demands, ensuring availability of resources, hardware, installations and ensure the quality of those servicesAct as the trusted IT delivery partner within the Project Steering CommitteeLead SAP technicalprojectsYou will be located in the SAP BASISteam, in Corporate IS.
You will report hierarchically to the SAP Technical Center of Excellence lead.
Occasional travel to other Umicore sites (national & international) will be required.
Who we are looking forYou hold a master in information technology, applied economics, business administration or similarYou have a minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience as SAP BASIS consultant and at least 5 years’ experience as TeamLead and TechnicalProjectManagerYou have a sincere and proven interest in IT You have a mature, assertive and dynamic personality, with excellent interpersonal skillsYou are a team player with strong communication skills and with a collaborative spiritYou are customer oriented, result driven & focused on delivering qualityYou have strong analytical skills and are able to lead complex projects and related teams Good internal and external networking skillsYou are fluent in English and either Dutch or French, German is a plusYou are capable to review the team workload and determine - and set priorities of your teamYou have a solid experience in project management.You’re a people motivatorYou’re a good communicator and able to create communication plans for the projects with stakeholders, project committee, capable to manage and steer the project meetings in a proper mannerYou’re capable to set the right priorities to deliver in time You’re flexible in working hours and willing to travel What we offerWe aim to lead the way.
