The role will however be located in Belgium where you will be working together with the Tax Manager Belgium and Alpro business teams.
You will be reporting into the Head of Tax Benelux, located in Hoofddorp, The Netherlands.
Some flexibility every now and then working in other Danone Belgium offices and traveling to the Danone Paris and/or Hoofddorp offices will be required.
You will be part of a truly international tax team consisting of corporate tax, transfer pricing and indirect tax specialists and you will be working in a fast-paced global setting.In this role you will regularly collaborate with various Danone stakeholders in Belgium and abroad, as well as external advisors and tax authorities.
The role will offer a steep learning curve and opportunities to further grow.Main Responsibilities:
Review and submission of periodic VAT returns, as well as other VAT related reporting obligations such as EC sales lists and Intrastat returnsReview of VAT accounting incl.
management of the VAT cash positionProvide support, training and VAT advice to various Danone stakeholders Assist in the set-up of new flows for VAT and liaise with SAP master data/IT teamSupport in the implementation of a new VAT compliance tool Support in the preparation of corporate income tax related returns and review of tax accountingPrepare and file withholding tax returnsAssist in the preparation of transfer pricing documentation Provide support in tax audits (VAT, company income tax, transfer pricing)Provide support in tax projects About You Your Profile:
You have a Master or Bachelor’s degree in Tax, Law, Finance or related fieldYou have working experience of at least 3 to 4 years in Tax, preferably VATYou are willing to (further) expand your scope beyond VATYou have strong analytical skills and good business acumenYou are a team player who is confident in communicating with othersYou are hands-on and you take initiative and ownership of the jobSound knowledge of MS Office (.
Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and ERP system (SAP is a big asset).Fluent in English and Dutch, both written and verbal.
French is an asset.
