Analysis of the needs for office automation, collaborative solutions and knowledge management; Work in close cooperation with DG REGIO colleagues to analyse needs for, collaborative solutions and office automation solutions and knowledge management; Analyse the requirements in terms of user interfaces, support and propose improvements in RegioWiki, RegioShelves and collaborative sites, in terms of usability and ergonomics; Design and propose visual prototypes; Help to better identify how the IT unit can provide an integrated and user friendly solution for small needs of structured data management with interoperability within SharePoint and Office tools; Assist to better identify how the IT unit can provide an integrated solution for the collaborative tools (SharePoint based); Follow-up the evolution of the collaborative tools and migration to Collaborative Site (SharePoint, Confluence) through usability studies and office automation (in particular Excel).
Use out of the box customization and/or add-ons of Sharepoint and Confluence; Develop and support of advanced collaborative sites like AAR (Annual Activity Report), AMI list management and other collaborative sites, mostly regarding the design of their interface; Administrate Confluence server and add-ons; Support and manage Sharepoint and Confluence integration; Participate in defining and documenting operational procedures through reports; The consultant will report to the Knowledge Management/Collaborative sites team coordinator.

Successful Candidate LEVEL OF EDUCATION A master degree of 5 years.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS Level of education corresponding to Level 6 of the European Qualifications Framework + at least 6 years of professional experience; Knowledge of design web based applications and graphical tools; Proven knowledge in web technologies in particular HTML, CSS, Javascript and XML; Very good knowledge of designing and programming friendly custom components in SharePoint 2010, 2013 and 2016 platforms; Good knowledge of Agile and User centered design principles; Good knowledge of designing forms/dashboard with MS-Excel in VBA; Good knowledge of Atlassian Confluence platform administration and development including user-macros; Good knowledge in research techniques and usability; Knowledge in Java development; Excellent knowledge in Javascript; Very good knowledge on user interface ergonomics; Knowledge of GIT and Bitbucket; Knowledge of the Regional and Urban policy and of European Structural and Investment funds is considered an asset.
Due to the particular nature of a large international organisation such as the European Commission, candidates should also have the following non-technical skills:
