In that way you share your knowledge and brief others on complex incidentsYou provide 3rd level of technical support for the networks and services for the Fix Transmission domain in managing complex incidents and problems also outside office hours (on call)By maintaining the networks health, you ensure an excellent customer support service on requirementsYou analyze performance statistics/indicators, network behavior, operational processes, tools, and service architectures.
This gives you the opportunity to identify gaps, problems and risks and enables you to make recommendations on improvement opportunitiesIn providing presales with advice on the feasibility of services requested by the customers, you inform them on specific solutions and major business opportunitiesIf needed, you coach and mentor less experienced colleaguesYour profileExtensive technical background and experience in transport networks (engineering, configuration and operations)In-depth knowledge of Ciena Carrier Ethernet product range including 8700, 5160, 5170, 3930, 3926, OneControl and MCPStrong knowledge of SDH and DWDM and/or IP Routing/Switching and/or access technologies is a plusGood organization skills and project management rudimentsCustomer-oriented and team playerKnowledge of Orange Belgium fix services portfolio and corresponding network and IT architecture is a plusSpecific requirement :
