SeniorEnvironmentalEngineer Purpose:
Worley is seeking a highly experienced SeniorEnvironmentalEngineer to join our dynamic team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating environmental aspects of projects, ensuring compliance with regulations, and driving sustainable development initiatives.Key Responsibilities:
1.Environmental Permit Submission and Coordination:
Prepare and submit Environmental permit applications, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.Collaborate with project teams to coordinate environmental activities and integrate them into permitting plan.Coordinate data collection to come to permit submission.
2.Waste Management Improvement:
Conduct assessments to evaluate and improve waste management practices on various projects.Develop strategies to minimize waste generation in use phase and during project execution phaseDefine and implement effective disposal methods in alignment with environmental standards.
3.Sustainable Development Optimization:
Lead efforts to optimize sustainable development practices within projects.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate environmental considerations into project design, execution and completion.
4.Environmental Impact Assessment:
Conduct environmental impact assessments to identify potential risks and opportunities for improvement.Provide recommendations to mitigate adverse impacts and enhance project sustainability.
5.Regulatory Compliance:
Stay current with environmental regulations and standards applicable to projects.Ensure that project activities align with local, national, and international environmental requirements.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in EnvironmentalEngineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.Proven experience in environmentalengineering, with a focus on project coordination and sustainable development.Strong understanding of waste management principles and environmental impact assessment processes.Excellent project management and communication skills.Knowledge of applicable environmental regulations and standards.Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
