This gives interested engineers a challenging working environment, in cooperation with Japanese, Chinese, German, French, … specialists that work in state-of-the-art processes and at the edge of technology, such as electric drivelines and their integration into the vehicle.We are seeking a seniorprojectengineer to join the Engineering Services group in Leuven.
The focus for this function is on the execution of projects in the area of noise and vibration, with a primary focus on automotive markets.
The projects can take from a couple of weeks, where only two people work together, to several years where typically projects are subdivided in work packages executed with a larger team with sub-responsibilities.Project teams are composed based on the project at hand.
As such one gets different challenges in every new project, but also has different team members in every project, facilitating a fast development of technical skills and experience.Your profile:
Master’s degree in engineering or PhD (preferred mechanical, electrical, mechatronics)Experience in electromagnetic simulation / gear simulationExperience in vibro-acoustic simulation with FE/NastranApplication knowhow electric driveline design (dimensioning, sizing - motor/ gears) and interest in working on the integration in full vehicle is a strong plusKnowledge of Python and MATLAB is a plus.Experience in multi-body simulation / system simulation (1D) is a plusExperience in projectengineering with extensive experience in noise and vibration (N & V), for a variety of applications or market segments is a plusGood practical analytical skills and good communication skills.Eager to travel (few times a year, few days to 1 week)Dynamic team player, who takes on challenges and responsibility for his own projects, both on the technical side as on the project management and customer relation side.
