You will report directly to the Group Controller. You will:
Prepare and closely monitor budgets and forecasts. Analyse financial data to provide actionable insights and support decision-making. Make relevant and accurate analyses and formulate proposals for efficient cost control. Implement and monitor KPIs to ensure the efficient use of project resources. Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process optimization while maintaining our commitment to high quality research. Prepare and present management dashboards to support and guide business unit managers. Provide financial advice to line management in making tactical and strategic decisions. Create business models and business cases and provide input for cost rate and margin calculations. Actively contribute to projects on financial systems and improvement processes (ERP, .

Who you are You hold a Master's degree in an economic field.
You have at least 5 years of experience in Business Controlling (or equivalent relevant experience).
Experience in a service or project organization and/or in an international context is a plus. You succeed in presenting complex financial figures concisely and you know how to convince based on facts and analysis. With your interpersonal skills you are a business partner who creates impact and dares to challenge results.
You mainly have contacts with business unit and department heads. You are fascinated by a rapidly changing business environment and have a healthy curiosity to better understand products and production processes. You have impeccable Excel skills and manage to translate numbers into meaningful insights. You have excellent communication skills in English (and Dutch). imec LeuvenFlanders
