Job description • Design, plan, execute, interpret and report experiments to understand the physico-chemical and biopharmaceutics properties of drug substances and their formulations including solubility, dissolution/precipitation rate, solid state, pKa, LogP, ..

• Operate (robotic) high throughput lab equipment (e.g. Hamilton Star, Chemspeed) to support drug and formulation screenings (e.g. nanosuspensions, solid dispersions, solutions) • Participate in the evaluation of new analytical techniques in the area of high throughput and preformulation sciences, automated workflows and biorelevant testing.
• Work in a multidisciplinary team of researchers, internally as well as externally.• Bachelor or Master in Chemistry, Physics, Engineering, Pharmaceutical/Biomedical Sciences or a related science with relevant industrial experience • Knowledge of relevant techniques for physicochemical characterization of active ingredient, materials and formulations • High Affinity for lab environment, a can-do mentality and ambition to grow in a lab based role • Comfortable with the technical and IT aspects of an automated lab environment • Ability to actively gain scientific and technical insights related to the job content • Highly motivated team player, with excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaborative skills • Fluent English (both spoken and written) with a willingness to learn the basics of the Dutch language Johnson and Johnson BeerseFlanders
