Lastly, you build and maintain a strong partnership with key carriers, coloaders and vendors.
This is a full time position, based in our Antwerp office.
Your Responsibilities Create/ complete shipment details in our internal data management system (Carrier/ Vessel, Item description, etc.);Plan export consolidation containers;Coordinate with operationalcare LCL, haulers, co-loaders & carriers;Create files for consolidation container (Master / Single);Review and insure alignment of shipping instructions including to clarify any deviations/conflicts taking country regulations, while you take compliance, rate and routing information into consideration;Ensure profit maximization;Immediately report problems, operation disputes or discrepancies to the direct manager;Monitor operational performance of carriers and other vendors:
Escalate / create awareness if performance and commitments are not being delivered - Initiate and resolve any rate discrepancies.
Your Skills and Experiences Bachelor Degree or equivalent in Logistics, recent graduates who finalized a logistic degree arealso welcome;You have minimum 2 years proven experience in Sea Logistics & strong knowledge in FreightForwarding;Analytical mindset is present;You are a multitasker and strong organiser;Ability to communicate persuasively whilst demonstrating adaptability and empathy;Problem-Solving attitude and able to work under pressure;Very good verbal and written knowledge of English is a harsh requirement.#LI-SD2 Good Reasons to Join Wij bieden je een uitdagende functie in een dynamische werkomgeving waarin ontwikkeling en vooruitgang voorop staan.
