Your roleYou will join a team that looks after the sales of innovative textile machines and solutions within Vandewiele.
After a thorough training period during which you will be introduced to our company and business processes, you will be assigned the following responsibilities:
You will come into contact with our existing customers and get to know their needs and business processes.
Over time, you will be given responsibility for several international geographical regions (worldwide).A significant part of your time will be spent prospecting and working on new markets abroad.You will visit our customers and follow up their projects, with the objective of proposing tailor-made solutions, negotiating and concluding sales contracts.You work with our local agents to gather information and analyse movements in the textile market.You will be in close contact with various internal departments within Vandewiele (R&D, planning, customer service, ..

) and you will report directly to the commercial management.Your profileYou have a technical background and hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Sciences or equivalent through experience.Frequent travel to prospects, customers and trade fairs worldwide attracts you (20-30% of the time).You combine an affinity for engineering and mechanical engineering with commercial talent.
Knowledge of the textile sector is an advantage, but not a must.You have a direct approach and strong perseverance.You are good at making contacts and dealing with different cultures.You are communicative and can express yourself fluently in both Dutch and English.
