What is the role about? As a SafetySupervisor, you will be responsible of:
Supervise day-to-day activities within a particular construction workplace Ensure that workers make use of necessary protective equipment like helmets, hand gloves, welding shades etc., where and when necessary Investigate accidents and tackle their causes Take note of workers’ safety concerns and immediately act on them Arranging training programs on safety measures within the workplace Developing plans for emergency procedures with the consent of the manager(s) of the workplace Receive and act on reports regarding safety concerns from workers within the construction site/workplace Serve as a link between workers and top management when it comes to issues that have to do with the safety and proper organization of the workplace Introduce measures that will help curb accidents within the workplace.
Requirements Degree or certification of Safety Prevention Counselor level 2 or 1 required soon certificated is also accepted).
Fluency in Dutch and French/ English is mandatory.
Ability to speak another European language is an advantage . Microsoft Office :
in-depth knowledge, with an emphasis on Excel skills . Knowledge o f Apro P lan or LetsBuild is a + Experience in project design and/or realization is not a must but a plus.
