ROLE Initiate, plan, execute, control, and monitor all the activities related to the Program/Projects scheduling function according to the Schedule management plan of the Program.
RESPONSIBILITIES Support the project managers in the setup of their schedules (in MS Project) Contribute to the Master Schedule development of the Decom Program Overall Develop the interfaces between the project schedules and the Master Schedule Prepare, analyze, evaluate, process and present information and documentation relating to the Program Master Schedule, Projects schedules and progress measurement activities.
Develop, communicate and implement procedures to ensure the efficient organization and operation of the Program scheduling and progress monitoring activities.
Monitor any deviation from the initial schedule, and perform all activities necessary to make the analysis of any slippage areas with the sub-program and project managers.
Alert sub-program and project managers of any schedule variance in comparison with progress forecast.
Develop with the team the Program schedule control system and progress measurement methodology, closely liaise with sub-programs and project managers and with the sites Doel & Tihange to ensure the effectiveness of schedule management tools and process.
Prepare for issue all necessary Program, Subsidiary and Partners/Shareholders schedule information and reports.
JOB CONTEXT / WORK LOCATION Reports functionally and hierarchically to the Program Governance & Support (PGS) manager of the Decom Common program.
Work in team with the other seniorschedulingengineers within Decom Common program Workplace:
Brussels.
PROFILE Education:
Bachelor Degree.
Knowledge of IT scheduling tools is a must (MS Project, Clarity).
PMI certified PMP is a plus.
Skills:
Good communication skills, both written and oral, in French or Dutch and English.
Well organized and result-oriented.
Persuasiveness and are decision-making.
Focused on efficient teamwork, can delegate and follow up.
Easily make new contacts and can work transversely.
Experience:
Not less than 5 years in a similar position.
10 years of experience in projects.
Knowledge of the operation of a nuclear power plant and the nuclear circuits is a plus.
Experience in project management (knowledge of PMI methodology is a plus).
