Your role:
Our client is looking for an experienced Drupaldeveloper, who will be working on converting the websites to a new Drupal theme offered by OEL and based on the Bootstrap framework.
It is a big website with several specific cases of custom code written by a top-tier back-end team.
The client also requests a lot of features not included in the shipped theme, so continuous development is needed.
With the goal of respecting the best practices and keep the website decently performant, but also the red line of keeping it accessible (mainly for visually impaired users and those using keyboard navigation), removing old technologies (Material Design framework, jQuery libraries) and replacing them by more modern and performant ones (Bootstrap, vanilla JavaScript).
Deal with unit tests to catch problems before they can reach production.
Follow agile workflow, participate in all kind of scrum ceremonies, refinements, technical meetings and discussions, estimations, keep communication with functional and UX/UI teams to foresee problems.
