Your Impact as R&D EngineeringoperationsFinanceController:
You will oversee the controlling for our engineering and Research and Development operations in Deerlijk with a link to global activities.
Both environments have specific project related controlling set ups.
You will serve as a process expert, leading process improvements and as a SAP expert in multiple modules You will manage month-end tasks:
validate costs, analyze variances, monitor budgets, handle settlements, and provide audit data.
You will deliver regular financial reports, ensure accurate hour tracking, and provide project analysis.
You will oversee global financial systems, particularly in SAP, for sales, inventories, purchasing, and projects.
You will manage R&D project costs and engineering commercial projects, ensuring alignment with stakeholders You will control budgets and personnel tariffs.
About You Essential skills & competencies You have solid professional experience of at least 5 years, along with a bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance or relevant professional qualification.
You demonstrate the ability to identify key financial risks, manage general ledger accounts, and implement balance sheet controls.
You are a collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal skills, coupled with strong analytical thinking and analysis skills.
Proficiency in finance processes and systems such as SAP, IFRS, and PC literacy (MS Office, Power BI) is evident.
You exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Dutch.
