About the productFIS’ Payment Hub (Trax) is the flagship product for payment processing.
It is a highly adaptive corporate banking transaction system able to integrate seamlessly with existing cash management and back-office infrastructures. What you will be doingThe successful candidate will be responsible for the testing of a J2EE Payments Application (Trax).
The test activities include testing of functional releases and patches.The QualityAssuranceAnalyst will be involved to define the strategy to guarantee quality throughout the software development life cycle and will work closely with the Product Management and Development team in Belgium and India to define and put in place a successful QA strategy (test case definition, test plan, automated tests, etc.).Participate in all phases of test execution and documentation including functional, regression, performance, usability, integration and acceptance testing.Engineer test data to be used in the various testing types throughout the software development life cycle.Development of detailed test scenarios and automated functional and load test scripts using IntelliJ (or other) test automation tools.Work closely with Product Management and Development to ensure effective coordination during the testing process.Actively participate in the relevant SCRUM rituals (Planning Meeting, Stand-up, Retrospective, Backlog grooming, etc.).Identify, log, report and track defects found in the release.What you bring:
Bachelor’s or master’s degree, preferably in an IT-related discipline or the equivalent of education and experience;Relevant QA experience (preferably in Finance) is an asset.Familiarity with test automation tools (Selenium), CI tools (Jenkins) or Groovy scripting is an asset.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Self-motivated, strong initiative, flexible and good time management skills.Enthusiastic, team-building attitude, good communication skills,Willing to work in/build an Agile environment.Ability to meet deadlines, goals and objectives within assigned time.Good knowledge of English.Added bonus if you have:
