This position will be based out of Nivelles, Belgium.Job Purpose:
As a ProductManager, you will have the responsibility of several product lines with a focus on the software and digital platforms.
You will have the mission to define, advance and promote innovative products and software bringing significant benefits to our target markets, in line with the company’s strategic objectives.You will be part of the global Donaldson Bioprocess Product Management team, in the Life Sciences Product & Technology group.

Generate and execute the product strategy:
Define and drive the digitization strategic vision and roadmap for the product portfolio, including creating and maintaining a comprehensive software offering across the equipment portfolioWork with commercial, technical and strategy leaders to develop and maintain a centralized product vision and strategy for planning and execution of new products, translating into product roadmaps, requirements, and specificationsConduct and communicate market research and competitive analysis to drive decision-making.
Develop critically justified business cases for new product development.Articulate and document product value proposition with heavy emphasis on quantitative rationaleDefine, monitor and adapt pricing strategy and profitabilityWork with marketing and sales to define product positioning and commercialization strategyActive portfolio management:
Define and implement the life cycle roadmap of current products, in line with corporate objectives and with the current and future portfolioMonitor technical and commercial performance of the products, continuously identifying and prioritizing improvement opportunitiesDefine annual product/portfolio priorities and objectives in line with corporate objectives, to be deployed in sales and marketing plans and campaignsSupport creation of tools to navigate the existing portfolioBe the Life Sciences market expert:
Communicate internally and externally to educate on and promote your product lines, e.g.
application notes, webinars, conference presentationsMaintain current knowledge of market trends, competitive landscape, and events of note.Profile:
Master and/or Engineering degree in biology, biotechnology or bioprocessing.4+ years of experience in life science industry2+ years of experience as a ProductManagerExperience or knowledge with software platforms applied to bioprocessing for biopharmaKnowledge of biological processes (Upstream and Downstream), biopharmaceuticals technologies, GMP for biological productsStrong understanding of portfolio management concepts including life cycle strategy, new product definition, and portfolio rationalization analysisManufacturing company experience, with a strong preference toward direct life science background (biopharma, food & beverage bioprocessing, medical device)Experience in process economics modelling applied to biotechnology would be appreciatedExcellent level of written and spoken EnglishExcellent project management organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.Solution-oriented and improvement mindsetTeam-oriented and proactiveExperience in working with cross-functional and diverse teams to drive success and resultsStrong communication, presentation and motivation skillsCome make a World of Difference!
