About our SaaS Solution SynaptiQ is 3E’s SaaS product, an independent, evolutionary software suite for asset management of renewable energy portfolios (more information on https:

SynaptiQ collects near-real time data of more than 20 million devices spread over 10 thousands utility scale and commercial solar and wind sites spread all over the globe.

We develop and operate advanced analytical services to enrich the monitoring data by:

satellite imaging data, meteorological modelling, advanced system modelling, machine learning & artificial intelligence.

The platform combines domains related to big data, high-performance processing, IoT protocols and AI and is the product of the interactions between a multidisciplinary team of developers, scientists, renewable energy architects, electrical engineers, and enthusiast sales that implement, operate and commercialize SynaptiQ worldwide.

The added value realized by SynaptiQ is performance improvement and operational cost reduction for its Operations & Maintenance customers.

Function You will act as a sales engineer for our SaaS solutions and will operate at the intersection of engineering, sales, operations and product management .

You will be responsible to communicate and demonstrate the technical aspects and value add of the SaaS solution and thereby form a part of the team to achieve the technical win while selling the 'executable' .

Working in tandem with the sales representative, you take ownership of the technical phases within the sales process, including demonstrations of the SaaS platform, technical requirement analysis and definition etc.

You demonstrate thorough product knowledge and understanding of the operational activities in combination with your commercial awareness.

Day-to-day, you will aim to:

Understand the customer needs and convey the value proposition of our SaaS solutions to them.

Then, you drive the customer through the technical buying cycle.

Gather and analyze the use cases of customers and map them into the standard processes and features of our SaaS solution.

Translate customer needs into opportunities to improve our product in close cooperation with product management.

Streamline and optimise the process between Sales, Operations and R&D for maximum efficiency and scalability.

Respond to a request for information (RFIs) or request for proposals (RFPs) from customers Liaise with Product Managers to provide feedback from clients about product requirements Deliver compelling proofs of concept and demonstrations In this position, you work within the Sales team and work closely with Operations and Product Management teams.

Profile We are looking for a bright engineer with a commercial mindset and good communication skills.

You will be able to make a difference from day one, and a “get things done” mentality will be highly appreciated.

You have a Master in Information Technology or Engineering, or you have an equivalent of this requirement in working experience You have an experience in the Renewable sector (either from previous work experiences or from your studies).

You have an experience of at least 1 year in a technical sales position and you are familiar with the processes and the goals of sales engineering.

You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and have experience working with multiple stakeholders.

You have experience working with multinational customers.

You demonstrate exceptional technical skills and a rich blend of commercial, analytical, and strategic talents .

You value independence and pragmatism.

You've learned what it means to own an account and to interact with several internal and external stakeholders to achieve your objective in the common interest of the company.

You have full professional proficiency, spoken and written, in English.

You have full professional proficiency, spoken and written, in at least one of the following languages:

Spanish, French, German.

Proficiency in more languages, such as Italian, Dutch, Portuguese will be highly appreciated.

You are based, and eligible to work, in Europe and with no more than 1h difference from CEST.

You are able and willing to periodically meet your colleagues in person in Brussels at least once every one month.
