Key Responsibilities Research:
Conduct pertinent research and analysis to assist in decision-making processes.
Political Advice and Support:
Provide political advice to the GeneralSecretary and draft briefings, strategy proposals, presentations and speeches for her validation.
Networking:
Establish and maintain contacts with both the institutions and other external stakeholders.
Meeting Management:
Assist in organising and facilitating all the GeneralSecretary’s internal and external meetings.
ETF Governing Bodies:
Coordinate and lead the preparation of ETF Governing Bodies including drafting the agenda and monitoring the implementation of decisions.
Liaison with ITF:
Liaise with the ITF Strategic Implementation Team to coordinate joint ETF/ITF projects and policies.
Solidarity:
Design and coordinate solidarity actions to support affiliates in disputes.
Collaboration:
Cooperate with other ETF Departments and Communications Officers.
Profile Education:
Master’s Degree in EITHER Political Sciences OR EU Law OR EU Studies OR Sociology.
Experience:
Minimum 4 years‘ experience in trade unions is essential.

Language Skills:
Excellent written and spoken English , additional languages are always an asset for such a multicultural organisation.
Communication:
Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to synthesize complex information and remain diplomatic at all times.
Project Management:
Excellent planning, analysis and problem solving skills.
Proactivity:
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with minimum supervision.
IT Skills:
Proficient in MS Office.
Travel:
Willingness and availability to travel 1/2 times per month.
