Your expertise will also allow to develop budgeting tools on piping scope for projects in sales phase, in collaboration with colleagues from the Technical Sales team.You will train internal stakeholders on developed methodologies, while keeping external stakeholders aligned with the way of working.You are receptive for learning from those external stakeholders.You are the go-to-person when issues arise on project level in terms of piping, while you verify final deliverables of external engineering companies on project level.Your expertise enables you to nurture a good transition process from engineering to a cost-effective site execution.You will support the project teams in achieving compliance, which involves developing a structured collaboration with notified bodies.You will pursue continuous improvement and aim for standardization.You will report to the Global Procurement Manager and work closely with the Project Engineering and Project Field teams.
YOUR PROFILE You are an engineer with at least 10 to 15 years of piping experience, preferably in the energy sector.You have a proven track record in working with internal and external stakeholders across different regions.You are energized by acting as a trainer and mentor.You are process oriented and like to bring change to organizations.You know how to handle push-back in a respectful and patient manner.
Preferably you will be based in Belgium and you are willing to travel to our sites and suppliers for 20% of your timeYou are fluent in English.
